Public legal, privacy, and operator information for OpenRegis. The content is structured for launch review and can be managed from the admin legal-page system.
Last updated: May 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of OpenRegis, a product operated by Infinite8 FZE. They apply to public pages, document orders, accounts, team features, support requests, and API access unless a separate agreement applies.
2. Service
OpenRegis helps users search German companies and registry entities, select orderable registry documents, create orders, authorize payment, receive delivery, and integrate documented APIs.
- Company search with explainable ranking and ordering eligibility
- Registry documents such as current and chronological extracts where available
- Order preview, status tracking, invoice or receipt, and PDF download
- API documentation and future API access for teams and integrations
3. Results, verification, and sources
OpenRegis uses public registry and company data plus verified discovery evidence. A paid order may only be created from an orderable, verified result. Unverified web, imprint, or search evidence is not sufficient for paid ordering.
4. Formation of an order
An order is created when the user selects a verified company, document type, and plan and submits the order. Search, preview, or display of candidates alone does not create a paid order.
5. Prices, authorization, and payment
For paid orders, a card or payment method may be authorized first. Capture is intended to happen only after successful document delivery or availability. Prices, taxes, and plan rules are shown during the order flow.
6. Delivery and availability
Delivery depends on external registers, network access, captcha or access restrictions, and technical systems. OpenRegis works to provide reliable delivery but does not guarantee a specific retrieval time where external sources are unavailable or the document is not available.
7. Refunds and failed orders
If a document cannot be delivered and no equivalent solution is provided, an uncaptured authorization is released or a captured amount is reviewed for refund. Abuse, incorrect user input, or repeated automated failed orders may be handled differently.
8. User obligations
Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials, avoid unauthorized automated mass access, and not bypass systems. API access may only be used within the agreed limits.
9. API use
Live documented endpoints may be used according to the documentation. Endpoints marked Coming soon are roadmap information and not available contractual services. Limits, authentication, and billing may vary by plan.
10. Warranty and liability
OpenRegis provides technical tools around public registry information. We do not warrant that external registry data is always complete, current, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intentional misconduct, gross negligence, and foreseeable typical damages.
11. Privacy
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Company and registry data may include public information; contact and account data is processed for contract and support purposes.
12. Changes
We may update these terms when product, law, or operating model changes. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.
13. Governing law
The laws of the United Arab Emirates apply unless mandatory consumer or data-protection rules at the user's location override them.
